Community college is an amazing place; a family if you will. Having your voice heard is important. Student Government is the space that brings power to the voice of students. Every semester, the advisors and up to 10 members of the student government body work tirelessly to make initiatives manifest. Student Government Association (SGA) advocates and fosters elements like campus safety, access to buildings, access to resources and so much more. SGA members also have committee assignments and can have personal interaction in office hours with representatives to have their personal needs met.

Do you need some form of accessibility? Do you need support with textbooks? Do you have any concerns about how your school can and should serve you? The Student Government Association can help support you with this and is the advocate for your needs as students at community college. The office is located right in the heart of campus at the Winnet Student Life Building, in room S1-12, not too far from many other wonderful organizations. So many opportunities await if you choose to run as an officer. You can make an impact on our campus while getting a stipend for all your hard work. Connect with Student Government and be a voice for your community. Become and be empowered in the space for legislation, education, culture, and the confident leader. Student Government is a beacon of opportunity and a great space to have an impact on the community. Come and let your light shine.
